Tokens and hooks

Kata identifies tokens by address, never by symbol.

Reviewed and unverified

The list opens on the top 10 tokens on Arc by liquidity. USDC, EURC, WETH and cirBTC are reviewed; everything else is marked Unverified. You can paste a token or pool address to trade something that isn’t listed, after confirming you understand it is unverified.

Anyone can create a token with any name: on Arc, dozens call themselves “EURC” and some copy “USDC” with the wrong decimals. Known impersonators are removed from the list.

Transfer tax

Tokens that charge a fee on every transfer show a Tax label. Use a higher slippage for them.

Uniswap v4 hooks

A hook is a contract attached to a v4 pool that runs during a swap. Most v4 pools on Arc have one, and many take a share of each swap. Routes through them carry a Hook label.

Kata quotes these pools by simulating the swap on-chain, so what the hook takes is already in the number you see. Your minimum received still protects you if a hook behaves differently at execution.
