How routes are compared
The Recommended route is the one you receive the most from, after every fee.
Sources
- Uniswap: the best route from Uniswap’s router across v2, v3 and v4 pools, including hooked pools and routes split across several pools.
- Uniswap pools, one by one: each standard pool for the pair, quoted on-chain, so you can see each fee tier on its own.
- KyberSwap: an aggregator that also reaches other Arc DEXes.
- Two-step routes: for pairs without a pool of their own, through USDC, EURC, WETH or cirBTC.
Recommended
Routes are re-quoted every 10 seconds. Tap any other row to use it instead; the swap panel shows how much less it pays.
Thin pools
A route with price impact above 3% is marked Thin pool: shown, never recommended or selectable. Pools holding under $1,000 are hidden and counted in a note under the table.
Liquidity and price impact
Liquidity is what a pool really holds, in US dollars. Price impact compares your order’s rate with a very small order on the same route, so it shows how much your own size moves the price.
Single pools and two-step routes are shown for comparison and can’t be swapped from Kata yet; the review screen offers the best route you can swap instead.
